Fosteur releases new Hi-Res album The Nobody Zone

The Alternative Rock project, Fosteur, has released his new solo album, “The Nobody Zone.” It contains 10 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 40 minutes. This album, like Fosteur’s previous three albums, has been published on the independent Fosteur Records label.

With a dark and moody vocal delivery set to the backdrop of a methodically-arranged array of guitars and drum grooves, “The Nobody Zone” shows Fosteur as an artist who has his own distinct vision of what rock music can evolve into.

London’s Fosteur has a style of his own but he has shared that many musicians have influenced his approach to making music, mentioning the freedom of expression of bands like Radiohead and The Pineapple Thief, while also citing the meticulous arrangements employed by the likes of Queen. With the aforementioned philosophies in mind and an ambitious thirst for creation of his own, “The Nobody Zone” by Fosteur is a record any alt rock fan should investigate.

Asked to describe the overall theme of “The Nobody Zone,” Fosteur shares, “The songs on The Nobody Zone describe different things. Three or four tracks do indeed address the theme of the power of solitude, as the title suggests. One song derides a certain billionaire’s plans to colonise Mars. I hope the humour in that one comes over! Overall, I’d like people to perhaps wonder ‘what is he getting at there?’ but I also hope there are elements which touch people in some way. I hope people will think ‘that’s a bit different’ without the music being too inaccessible. I have long despaired at the trend known as The Loudness Wars, where song dynamics are stripped for the sake of overall volume. I had complete control of the mastering of this album – there has been no involvement by the music industry here – and I advise listeners to just turn up the volume instead. I’d also like to give a shout-out to my distributor, Octiive. They have kindly accommodated my request to make the 24-bit masters available to the Hi-Res streaming sites.”

“The Nobody Zone” by Fosteur is available now on CD and from quality digital music stores worldwide.
