The Rock /Eclectic Pop band Project 1268 have released their latest official full length LP, “Scarce Commodities.” 9 new songs culminate. With a storyline reminiscent of a rock opera and a musical journey that takes us back to the roots of rock and pop only to take us back to present day. Based out of Bentonville/Rogers Arkansas, the duo of Craig and Haley have known each other since high school in Broken Arrow Oklahoma. They lost touch for many years, however, and only discovered by accident they were living in the Northwest Arkansas metroplex when they ran into each other at a concert! From December 2020 the duo started working on music. Fast forward to now, where we get the joy of sharing the musical convergence of these two lives after many years apart. Their website bio says it all – ‘Meetings like this are not by chance…Imagine the reunion of two best friends separated by decades. What kind of soundtrack would their reunion make? Craig: “It’s the story of a record – it opens with “Put the Needle Down” and closes with ‘Record Store’ with an eclectic collection of pop, indie rock and folk/rock tunes in between.”
