Guitarist Ray Ray Star releases new rock single ‘Feelin”

The explosive rock ‘n’ roll guitarist known as Ray Ray Star has released his latest official single, “Feelin’.” It has been released concurrently with the song’s official video, directed by Bobby Cuffe and produced by Bob McQuarrie. “Feelin’” is an adrenaline-fueled rock anthem with the epic, arena-rock feel of the mid- 1980s, combined with the edgier aggression of fringe alternative rock from the early ’90s. It is fast-paced, well-written, and every bit as excellent as Ray Ray Star fans have come to expect from one of rock’s most revered veteran performers.

In addition to the endless talents of Ray Ray Star, himself, “Feelin’” showcases the flawless, powerful vocals of Nick Weber, the surgical precision of bassist Ryan N. Jones, and the riotous, heavy-hitting (very, very heavy-hitting) drums of Ricardo Viana. Its themes revolve around drug addiction and the steep, winding path to recovery. Regarding this message, Star comments that the song is intended communicate “That there is a way out from the darkness of drug and alcohol abuse.”

Ray Ray Star has been playing his own brand of hard rock ‘n’ roll for decades, his first work being with Lethal Virus from 1985 to 1989. When not playing for his current eponymous rock project, he provides ripping, shredding lead guitar for two up-and-coming, volatile bands, Falling for Scarlet and Full Leather Jacket. A lifer in the music industry, Star has always known that rock ‘n’ roll would be the course his career would take.

“I saw a Kinks concert on TV when I was 4,” he says, “and I knew right then that’s what I wanted to do in life.”

Ray Ray Star cites as main artistic influences the likes of legends such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and former Guns ‘n’ Roses guitarist, Slash. His current official bio describes his sound as “true Arena Rock that makes ya wanna light things on fire, rip the heads off your sister’s dolls, and launch bottle rockets at your principal’s house!”

“Feelin’” by Ray Ray Star is available online worldwide. Don’t miss the video, and be sure to also experience Star’s other projects, Falling for Scarlet and Full Leather Jacket.
