Europe’s most prolific EDM artist DJ Pad releases new album ‘Dubstep: Second Strike’

The French composer of electronic dance music known as DJ Pad has released his latest official LP album, “Dubstep: Second Strike.” The album contains 15 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of one hour. Like Pad’s other records, it has been proudly published as an independent release by the 4000 Records underground label. Kaleidoscopic, pounding with bass, and full of tricks and surprises, “Dubstep: Second Strike” is perhaps the most innovative material to come from DJ Pad yet.

DJ Pad is perhaps best known around the world for arguably being Europe’s most prolific EDM artist, if not her most prolific musician altogether. Having been composing electronic music since 2008, Pad has amassed a titanic repertoire of more than 700 original tracks in over 30 music genres, mostly electro- house, trance and dubstep. He averages about 100 songs each year, most of them over four minutes long.

If a DJ Pad fan were to listen to all of Pad’s music end-to-end without taking any breaks, DJ Pad songs would still be pouring from the speakers on the dawn of the third day. Amazon Digital Music alone hosts more than 200 of these original songs available for sample, sale and download.

Yet Pad somehow still finds new ways to branch out and discover melodies. “Dubstep: Second Strike” is a highly polished sequel to his 2014 record, “Dubstep: First Strike,” and an avid music listener can hear the subtle complexities which have arisen in Pad’s style over the last two years. Another change is that “Second Strike” is only an hour long. Some Pad albums are as long as three.

Speaking of his new LP, Pad writes, “In this quite ‘short’ album, I’ve wanted to give to all my fans my vision of dubstep with generally complex drops and intro/breaks coming from other genres.”

Tracks which are sure to stand out include the opening song, “Arpy,” the eclectic “Spacy and Curvy,” and the mellow “Beach Basket.” A reggae-flavored track, “Not so Long Title” is also prominent. Pad’s closer, “Glossy Elephant,” is a welcome throwback to the golden age of electronica with a heavy coat of dubstep on it.

As DJ Pad fans have come to expect, this is yet another remarkable success from the artist, one which no Pad collection is complete without. This is likely to be perceived as the best from DJ Pad so far.

“Dubstep: Second Strike” by DJ Pad is available from 4000 Records online worldwide now.

DJ Pad releases new LP ‘A Trip in My House Part 2’

The French composer and producer of digital music called DJ Pad has released his latest LP record album, “A Trip in My House Part 2.” Like his previous material, it has been published on the 4000 Records music label. The LP is the third full-length record to be officially released from Pad in less than a single season. It is the latest in a series with which Pad has been cataloging his sonic personality with precision, efficiency, ingenuity and imagination the EDM world has perhaps never seen before.

DJ Pad’s “Dubstep: First Strike” album appeared in May, boasting a whopping two-and-a-half hours of EDM, to be closely followed by “A Trip in My House Part 1” in the latter part of the same month. As the first installment of DJ Pad’s new series, “A Trip in My House Part 1” also came out of the box with over 150 minutes of music, meaning that the unbelievably prolific DJ Pad released approximately 60 original songs in the month of May alone. This latest edition, “A Trip in My House Part 2” has capped this achievement with yet another 30 songs, making for a grand total of seven-and-a-half-hours of excellently creative, colorful, and engaging digital music from Pad in less than twelve weeks.

DJ Pad has cited as personal influences such artists as Afrojack, Sebastian, Swedish House Mafia, Infected Mushrooms, ATB, Cosmic Gate, Atomic Cat, as well as founding fathers of the scene such as Hanz Zimmer and Mike Oldfield.

High points of interest on “A Trip in My House Part 2” include the delicate and classical, “Poizon” and the baroque-inspired “One More Kiss.” DJ Pad shows off his old-school, house music chops in “Time to Wake Up” and “Remember Me,” both of which are especially suited for playing at dance clubs at midnight anywhere in the world. “Yet Another Track,” shows what Pad can do with live, mixed and highly varied instrumentation. This proves to be quite a lot, as Pad has more than 16 years playing accordion and understands melodious interplay explicitly.

DJ Pad’s official bio states that he has written and produced more than 500 songs in about 30 different genres, but focusing mostly on electro-house, trance, and dubstep. He has been making beats since late 2008.

“A Trip in My House Part 2” by DJ Pad is available online worldwide. It stands as a monument to one of the most inspirational work ethics music has ever known.

DJ Pad releases new LP ‘A Trip in My House Part 1’

The DJ and composer of electronic music known globally as DJ Pad has released his latest collection of original tracks, the first installment of his new series, “A Trip in My House Part 1.” Like Pad’s more recent releases, the LP has been published on the 4000 Records music label. It is the most significant DJ Pad material to appear on shelves since his early May 2014 album, “Dubstep: First Strike,” which turned heads worldwide for its comprehensive spread of 30 tracks over two and a half hours of listening.

Not to disappoint his growing fan base, DJ Pad has released “A Trip in My House Part 1” with yet another 30 tracks and another two and a half hours of listening. As the two albums have been published in the same month, it is likely that no musician in the EDM genre has ever before released as much masterfully composed material to the public within 30 days as France’s DJ Pad has done. Clearly, Pad is one of the world’s most prolific living songwriters in any genre.

Pad has cited as main artistic influences such musicians as Afrojack, Sebastian, Swedish House Mafia, Infected Mushrooms, ATB, Cosmic Gate, Atomic Cat, as well as founding fathers of the scene, such as Hanz Zimmer and Mike Oldfield (“Tubular Bells”). DJ Pad’s official bio states that he has written and produced more than 500 songs in about 30 different genres, but focusing mostly on electro-house, trance, and dubstep. He has been making beats since late 2008.

“I’m a french producer who makes trance, house, hardcore/gabber and some other styles of music like psytrance, ambient, and dubstep,” writes the composer.

DJ Pad has made a great deal of his music available for listening online in a wide variety of mediums. His most laudable and popular accomplishments remain his LP records, which are sold at over 750 online stores worldwide. Fans of EDM, house music, and electronica in general would do themselves a great disservice to miss out.

DJ Pad releases new LP ‘Dubstep: First Strike’

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –

Europe’s DJ Pad has released his latest LP record album, “Dubstep: First Strike.” It is the most significant full-length album from DJ Pad since the release of his December 2012 LP, “Waiting to Be Discovered.” Comprised of 30 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of nearly two-and-a-half hours, “Dubstep: First Strike” represents Pad’s most comprehensive collection of songs to date, it serves as proof that DJ Pad may be the world’s most prolific dubstep artist making music today. Populated with beats, grooves and melodies across the entire scale of human emotions, “Dubstep: First Strike” is the definitive DJ Pad record and one of the scene’s most vividly creative accomplishments.

The French DJ and composer of electronic music comes from a broadly varied background. With more than 16 years of expertise playing accordion, his listening tastes lean more toward popular electronic musicians such as Afrojack, Sebastian, Swedish House Mafia, Infected Mushrooms, ATB, Cosmic Gate, Atomic Cat, and founding fathers of the scene such as Hanz Zimmer and Mike Oldfield. DJ Pad’s music on “Dubstep: First Strike” draws from all these tones and styles, but with even more diversity than one might expect.

In fact, DJ Pad’s “Dubstep: First Strike” includes a great deal of his musical catalog, which has something for everyone

“This time I’ve decided to release almost all the dubstep I’ve made, plus one epic drum ‘n’ bass track,” writes DJ Pad. “I want to show another face of my musical personality (but there are also others, for example, trance).”

DJ Pad’s official bio states that he has written and produced more than 500 songs in about 30 different genres, but focusing mostly on electro-house, trance, and dubstep. He has been making beats since late 2008.

The music distribution company known as MondoTunes has announced a new series of song contests. The contests will be held monthly and open to artists around the world, presented by MondoTunes, renowned artists and music industry leaders. Each contest will focus on a different genre of music, beginning with the electronic dance music called dubstep, which style was popularized by artists like Deadmau5 and Skrillex in the early 2000s. MondoTunes says that song contests in other mainstream music genres are to follow in coming months.

The submission to the contest is free and open to all styles and recording budgets,” writes MondoTunes. “Judging is purely based on song quality (not just recording quality) including lyrics, melody, progression and structure. Winning prizes include $500 cash, music merchandise from top manufacturers, global digital music distribution to over 100+ countries for winning songs, radio promotions with MondoTunes Radio for an entire year, and a press-release marketing package to promote the contest winner.”

MondoTunes has made entering their competition extremely easy. In addition to encouraging the world’s artists to make more music, MondoTunes’ music contests are designed to promote socializing between independent music fellows. In this way MondoTunes continues to show its genuine care for music artists at large, which has been a characteristic their clients have commonly cited as a reason for choosing Mondo over other reputable companies.

This is not a popularity contest,” MondoTunes states. “It’s a talent contest. We are extremely excited about hearing some of the entries that come in, and helping to shine a light on some of the top undiscovered talent out there!

MondoTunes’ panel of judges will change from competition to competition. They will include a mix of music industry executives, sound studio professionals and popular artists.
