DJ Pad releases new album ‘Let’s Bounce’

The French producer of EDM known as DJ Pad has released his newest LP, “Let’s Bounce.” This is (only) the latest in a long line of full-length releases from Pad stretching back to 2008, all of which have been published on his own 4000 Records independent music label. “Let’s Bounce” is one of the giants in his repertoire, containing 30 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of more than two and one half hours. Danceable, energetic and colorful, yet having spacious moments of chillout and ambient, “Let’s Bounce” is DJ Pad’s offering of Melbourne-bounce songs for EDM lovers Down Under and up top.

France’s DJ Pad has cited as main artistic influences artists from all over the stylistic spectrum. At different times these have included Afrojack, Sebastian, Swedish House Mafia, Infected Mushrooms, Psycraft, Hallucinogen, ATB, Cosmic Gate, Atomic Cat, Angerfist, Hanz Zimmer, Mike Oldfield and many more. However, when asked to mention inspirations for his “Let’s Bounce” LP, Pad remarks, “This album is Melbourne Bounce and Big Room oriented, so it’s difficult to cite just a few because my inspiration came from mixes on Mixcloud and YouTube.”

It is incorrect to say the entire “Let’s Bounce” album is Melbourne-style, though, when in fact it is much more.

“This album contains four genres of music,” writes DJ Pad: “Melbourne bounce (one of my favorite styles of electro), big room / electro house, progressive house, and electronica. But the first two take most of the space on this very big album simply because I have so much fun producing them.”

Many of these Pad songs are uncommon additions to his enormous collection of original music – more than 700 songs and constantly growing. Tracks such as “Johnny’s Guitar” and “Funk Me” will turn heads of both new listeners and longtime DJ Pad fans.

He comments on this, “Another point to stress is that in almost all tracks there are some orchestral instruments (more or less epic). It’s my manner to evacuate my frustration of not really being able to produce full symphonic tracks.”

“Let’s Bounce” from DJ Pad is available from hundreds of quality digital music stores online worldwide beginning 14 November 2016. Get in early, EDM fans.

Europe’s most prolific EDM artist DJ Pad releases new album ‘Dubstep: Second Strike’

The French composer of electronic dance music known as DJ Pad has released his latest official LP album, “Dubstep: Second Strike.” The album contains 15 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of one hour. Like Pad’s other records, it has been proudly published as an independent release by the 4000 Records underground label. Kaleidoscopic, pounding with bass, and full of tricks and surprises, “Dubstep: Second Strike” is perhaps the most innovative material to come from DJ Pad yet.

DJ Pad is perhaps best known around the world for arguably being Europe’s most prolific EDM artist, if not her most prolific musician altogether. Having been composing electronic music since 2008, Pad has amassed a titanic repertoire of more than 700 original tracks in over 30 music genres, mostly electro- house, trance and dubstep. He averages about 100 songs each year, most of them over four minutes long.

If a DJ Pad fan were to listen to all of Pad’s music end-to-end without taking any breaks, DJ Pad songs would still be pouring from the speakers on the dawn of the third day. Amazon Digital Music alone hosts more than 200 of these original songs available for sample, sale and download.

Yet Pad somehow still finds new ways to branch out and discover melodies. “Dubstep: Second Strike” is a highly polished sequel to his 2014 record, “Dubstep: First Strike,” and an avid music listener can hear the subtle complexities which have arisen in Pad’s style over the last two years. Another change is that “Second Strike” is only an hour long. Some Pad albums are as long as three.

Speaking of his new LP, Pad writes, “In this quite ‘short’ album, I’ve wanted to give to all my fans my vision of dubstep with generally complex drops and intro/breaks coming from other genres.”

Tracks which are sure to stand out include the opening song, “Arpy,” the eclectic “Spacy and Curvy,” and the mellow “Beach Basket.” A reggae-flavored track, “Not so Long Title” is also prominent. Pad’s closer, “Glossy Elephant,” is a welcome throwback to the golden age of electronica with a heavy coat of dubstep on it.

As DJ Pad fans have come to expect, this is yet another remarkable success from the artist, one which no Pad collection is complete without. This is likely to be perceived as the best from DJ Pad so far.

“Dubstep: Second Strike” by DJ Pad is available from 4000 Records online worldwide now.

DJ Pad releases first album for 2016 ‘Psyko’Pad’

France’s most prolific producer of electronic dance music, DJ Pad, has released his first full-length record for 2016, “Psyko’Pad.” Much more than a mere LP album, “Psyko’Pad” is a titanic, towering, lordly achievement of a record bearing 18 tracks over 2.8 hours. Also, as a special treat for his fans this year, Pad has included a remix of each of the record’s songs in one continuous track. This brings the combined total listening time of “Psyko’Pad” to five hours, 38 minutes, making it one of the longest releases in music history and one of the best values on the digital music market ever.

For “Psyko’Pad,” DJ Pad cites several fellow digital composers as main artistic influences. He emphasizes Cosma (“This is one album he has made that pushes me to begin composing”) and Hallucinogen (“one of the founders of psytrance music”), before listing Cosmosis, Astral Projection, Psycraft, and Infected Mushroom (“They make music that is really inspiring for me”).

As one of the busiest DJs in Europe boasting one of the largest repertoires of original music in history – he has written and recorded more than 700 songs, to date – DJ Pad has records in nearly every electronic music genre. In the past these have notably included electro house, trance and dubstep, with elements of a great many other subgenres thrown in.

Speaking of his desire to create a psytrance record, DJ Pad writes, “I wanted to show my interpretation of this wonderful genre that can (in my opinion) affect your brain almost directly. It is really challenging to achieve this, complex to write such music, but also so very ‘trippy’ when accomplished.”

Previous full-length albums from DJ Pad include “The Hymn of Brotherhood,” “Waiting to Be Discovered,” “A Trip in My House Part 1,” “A Trip in My House Part 2,” “Y,” and “Dubstep: First Strike,” almost certainly with a great many more to come.

With so much music coming from the man from Arpajon, it’s easy to imagine him turning out songs one after another, but the truth is that each track takes him an enormous amount of time. When he was asked in 2014 by Dope Den Productions to describe the best advice he’d ever been given, Pad replied, “Just take your time and do not release a track too soon. Just refine it, again and again.”

This sentiment shows in the personal connection he feels with his music, too.

“It doesn’t matter to me if you like my music or not,” Pad also said. “But I’ll always share it with you, just in case you like it. Simply put, I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed producing and mixing it.”

“Psyko’Pad” by DJ Pad is available from the 4000 Records independent label at over 700 digital music stores worldwide. And it is monumental.

DJ Pad releases new LP ‘Welcome Aboard’

The French DJ known around the world as DJ Pad has published his new full-length album, “Welcome Aboard.” Like Pad’s previous releases, “Welcome Aboard” has been published independently on the 4000 Records label without the support of the corporate music industry. Also like earlier records from DJ Pad, “Welcome Aboard” boasts no fewer than 20 original titles for a grand total of over 100 minutes’ worth of digital music, nearly three times the amount which denotes a full-length LP album.

A spectacularly creative EDM record with elements of house, deep house, post-trance, jungle, gabber, old-school techno and even a dash of rock ‘n’ roll, “Welcome Aboard” is perhaps the most inclusive and impressive album from Pad yet.

Since his first appearance on the global digital music stage in spring of 2014, DJ Pad has gained a reputation for being the most prolific composer of EDM currently producing music in France (perhaps in Europe overall and conceivably even across the entire world). With a rapidly growing repertoire that will almost certainly consist of more than 700 original songs by summer of 2016, “Welcome Aboard” is another milestone which proves that DJ Pad can create high-quality music at a rate far surpassing that of any other internationally known digital musician.

DJ Pad’s albums change radically from one to the next, each having its own character and intended subgenre of electronic music. Pad has at one time or another cited as main musical inspirations such artists as ATB, Tiesto, Armin van Buren, Afrojack, Sebastian, Swedish House Mafia, Infected Mushrooms, Psycraft, Hallucinogen, Cosmic Gate, Atomic Cat, Angerfist, Hanz Zimmer, Mike Oldfield, and a great many more. He has been crafting his iconic brand of EDM since 2008 and shows no sign of slowing his remarkable creative pace.

The ability to write music across many categories is a rare talent. For DJ Pad, his musical skill extends even beyond digital music altogether, and in fact his creative roots are in traditional playing. He is an accomplished accordionist with nearly 20 years’ experience.

A man of few words, DJ Pad has been quoted as saying he makes music to “share the craziness and the happiness of the songs’ beats, making listeners have a sudden urge to move their feet and forget all the worries of life.”

With more than 50 hours of music by DJ Pad since he began making digital music, the sonic world wouldn’t be the same without him.

“Welcome Aboard” by DJ Pad is available online worldwide from 4000 Records. Go get a taste.

DJ Pad releases new LP ‘The Hymn of Brotherhood’

The composer and producer of digital dance music known as DJ Pad has released his latest LP album, “The Hymn of Brotherhood.” The record contains no fewer than 26 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of just under three hours. It is the latest addition to DJ Pad’s rapidly growing repertoire which includes full-length records such as “Waiting to Be Discovered,” “A Trip in My House Part 1,” “A Trip in My House Part 2,” “Y,” and “Dubstep: First Strike,” all of which have been released in less than three years. A gorgeous, sprawling, lush sonic landscape composed in the true spirit of the trance-music tradition, “The Hymn of Brotherhood” is the newest reason music fans have to take special note of France’s number-one composer and producer of digital music, the unstoppable DJ Pad.

DJ Pad writes music in a vast array of different genres and styles. For each of these, his music is informed by entirely different artists. For “The Hymn of Brotherhood,” Pad’s most comprehensive collection of trance music, the artist cites ATB, Tiesto, and Armin van Buren as main artistic influences.

Speaking of his overall goals for “The Hymn of Brotherhood,” DJ Pad writes, “I wanted to show yet another face of my multiple producer personalities. [The Hymn] takes place on an epic journey to visit the wonderful world of Trance. I’ve gathered tracks I’ve made in the past three years and remastered the oldest ones.”

DJ Pad has produced more than 600 original tracks in approximately 30 varying genres. Most of these are of the electro house, trance, and dubstep persuasions, but his music blends the elements of each with those of the others in such a way as to create new amalgams from existing categories. He has been making music since 2008, and gleans inspiration from such legends of digital music as Afrojack, Sebastian, Swedish House Mafia, Infected Mushrooms, Psycraft, Hallucinogen, Cosmic Gate, Atomic Cat, Angerfist, Hanz Zimmer, Mike Oldfield, and many more.

“The Hymn of Brotherhood” by DJ Pad becomes available worldwide 24 May 2015. Digital music fans should definitely get in early.

French electronica master DJ Pad releases new album ‘Y’

The French composer of digital music known as DJ Pad has released his latest LP record album, titled, “Y.” The record contains no fewer than 14 original tracks from DJ Pad, for an approximate total listening time of one hour and 20 minutes, roughly twice as much music as a typical full-length record comprises. The popular DJ Pad, although well-known for publishing massive amounts of music at a time, has outdone himself with this latest record. It represents Pad’s having released more than 100 official tracks in the term of a single year.

For his “Y” LP, DJ Pad cites Angerfist, Stunned Guys, Endymion and (“more recently”) Miss K8 as main artistic influences.

“Y” is the fourth LP album from DJ Pad since his emergence in late 2012, since which time he has published November of 2012’s “Waiting to Be Discovered,” July of 2014’s “Dubstep: First Strike” and “A Trip in My House, Part I,” June of 2014’s “A Trip in My House, Part II,” and now his December 2014 release, “Y.”

Each of these fine records is in excess of an hour long and showcases the digital maestro in a different sonic character than does any of the others. Each official DJ Pad release has been proudly published on the 4000 Records independent music label, entirely without support from the corporate music industry. Pounding, thrumming, and blazing with color and creativity, “Y” by Dj Pad is perhaps the most cutting-edge collection of new material from a digital artist in recent memory.

What will not come as a surprise to Pad fans is that “Y” is yet another new facet of Pad’s musical personality. “Y” is an LP made up of electronica tracks from the gabber subgenre, which is sometimes called “hardcore.”

“I’ve already released house and dubstep tracks,” writes DJ Pad, “but to finish this year (and to surpass the milestone of commercially releasing more than 100 tracks in a single year) I’ve decided to show another face of my musical personality – but not the last! I know that gabber is slowly rising from the underground but this is not why I’ve decided to release this compilation of my best tracks in this genre. It is just because I’m totally fond of this freaking epic style of music.”

“Y” by DJ Pad is available online worldwide. Congratulations go out from the world of electronica to DJ Pad! Writing and producing 100 songs in a single year is an achievement of titans.

DJ Pad releases new LP ‘A Trip in My House Part 2’

The French composer and producer of digital music called DJ Pad has released his latest LP record album, “A Trip in My House Part 2.” Like his previous material, it has been published on the 4000 Records music label. The LP is the third full-length record to be officially released from Pad in less than a single season. It is the latest in a series with which Pad has been cataloging his sonic personality with precision, efficiency, ingenuity and imagination the EDM world has perhaps never seen before.

DJ Pad’s “Dubstep: First Strike” album appeared in May, boasting a whopping two-and-a-half hours of EDM, to be closely followed by “A Trip in My House Part 1” in the latter part of the same month. As the first installment of DJ Pad’s new series, “A Trip in My House Part 1” also came out of the box with over 150 minutes of music, meaning that the unbelievably prolific DJ Pad released approximately 60 original songs in the month of May alone. This latest edition, “A Trip in My House Part 2” has capped this achievement with yet another 30 songs, making for a grand total of seven-and-a-half-hours of excellently creative, colorful, and engaging digital music from Pad in less than twelve weeks.

DJ Pad has cited as personal influences such artists as Afrojack, Sebastian, Swedish House Mafia, Infected Mushrooms, ATB, Cosmic Gate, Atomic Cat, as well as founding fathers of the scene such as Hanz Zimmer and Mike Oldfield.

High points of interest on “A Trip in My House Part 2” include the delicate and classical, “Poizon” and the baroque-inspired “One More Kiss.” DJ Pad shows off his old-school, house music chops in “Time to Wake Up” and “Remember Me,” both of which are especially suited for playing at dance clubs at midnight anywhere in the world. “Yet Another Track,” shows what Pad can do with live, mixed and highly varied instrumentation. This proves to be quite a lot, as Pad has more than 16 years playing accordion and understands melodious interplay explicitly.

DJ Pad’s official bio states that he has written and produced more than 500 songs in about 30 different genres, but focusing mostly on electro-house, trance, and dubstep. He has been making beats since late 2008.

“A Trip in My House Part 2” by DJ Pad is available online worldwide. It stands as a monument to one of the most inspirational work ethics music has ever known.
