2J Chandler releases new single ‘It’s Chandler’

The songwriter and producer of rap and hip-hop known as 2J Chandler has released his latest official single, “It’s Chandler.” The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the DuoGang record label. Direct, ambitious, and totally unadulterated, “It’s Chandler” showcases 2J Chandler as one of the most intriguing rap and hip-hop artists of the year so far and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

Chicago’s 2J Chandler cites as main artistic influences Lil Wayne, Tupac Shakur, and Youngboy. Chandler’s own sound takes elements from each of these and adds something fresh and unique for a result unlike anything today’s music fans have heard before. With an emphasis on verbal gymnastics over minimalist beats, “It’s Chandler” by 2J Chandler has a little something for everybody.

Asked to talk about his start in hip hop, 2J Chandler says “It’s been a part of me since birth,” adding also that he got his start in studio production via recording takes in a closet at the age of just 13.

In describing the overall themes and meaning of “It’s Chandler,” 2J Chandler writes that it’s “A story of my life and an insight to the things around me.”

If anything can be gleaned from this present release from DuoGang, though, it’s that 2J isn’t about to finish. He’s just getting started.

Just determined to show the world that I am one of the best artists of my time,” writes Chandler. “Music is my life with or without the recognition though, I should not be this slept on…”

It’s Chandler” by 2J Chandler on the DuoGang label is available from over 600 quality digital music stores online worldwide now. Get in early, rap and hip-hop fans.
