KMTX release new EP album ‘5 Min’

The songwriters and producers of electronic hip hop known as KMTX have released their latest official EP album, “5 Min.” The EP album contains six original KMTX tracks for an approximate total listening time of 20 minutes. It has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the KMTX record label. Part electronica, part pop-influenced house music, and all hip hop, “5 Min” showcases KMTX as one of the most intriguing dance hip hop artists of the year so far and promises that they have plenty more where that came from.

Asked to describe where they got their inspiration for “5 Min,” Russia’s KMTX do not cite any main artistic influences. KMTX’s own sound takes elements from the pop, house, and hip-hop categories for a result unlike anything today’s music fans have heard before. With an emphasis on rhythm, melodic hooks and razor-sharp vocal performances, “5 Min” by KMTX has a little something for everybody.

5 Min” is built around three key single tracks, “Mutants,” “Dizel,” and the title track, “5 Min.” In addition to KMTX musicians Ruba and AYU, their “5 Min” EP album also features a performance by Alseyda. The “Dizel” and “5 Mins” singles come bundled on the EP with Ruba, Nzero, Ayu, and Timur Kerimov versions.

Asked to describe the overall meaning of “5 Min,” KMTX writes, “Our philosophy is very simple. We want to send some positive vibrations to people, making them follow our rhythm, forget about their troubles and mistakes. No one is perfect, but life is one. Just find your true nature in KMTX.”

KMTX are also sometimes billed as Cymatics or Kimatix.

5 Min” by KMTX on the KMTX label is available from over 600 quality digital music stores online worldwide now. Get in early, electronic hip-hop fans.
